This is the perfect baby gate for an extra wide space. We had been looking for a gate to seperate our kitchen from our living room and every gate we looked into was just not wide enough.This gate is perfect...it actually can open up to an even larger space and it's great how it swings open once unlatched, so you don't always have to step over it. It is sturdy enough to take the abuse of a wild toddler as well!!!

I love the fact that the gate can be slipped out of the bracket and stored away when company comes. It is also easy to open (slide or swing) for people to get from one room to another.

Purchased this gate to keep my two dogs out of the living room. This gate was easy to install and isn't flimsy at all. The eye screws that come with it are very heavy. It's definitely a good solution when you want to block off a 4'-9' opening. The gate comes unfinished so we'll be able to stain the gate to match the room decor.

This is a very sturdy gate, solid construction, great design, and great price (cheapest ultra-wide gate I could find). It is fairly easy to open the gate from the side, but I usually just step over it. A third of the time my second foot doesn't completely make it and it gets caught, but the fence doesn't budge.
